A private portal for every builder client
Instead of emailing status reports, each builder opens their own link and sees where their jobs stand, updated automatically.
The code is private and the client is described without their name.
The problem
Builders who hire the company kept calling and emailing to ask where each house stood. Answering meant digging through several systems and putting together a report that was out of date a week later.
The system
- Each builder gets a private link — no username or password to remember.
- The page shows only their jobs: what's done, when, what's scheduled and what's been invoiced.
- The data comes from the same database that runs the operation, so it's always current.
- A read-only database role guarantees each client only sees their own work.
The result
✎ [RESULT: real measured outcome (time saved, errors avoided, etc.)]
It’s an extension of the same contractor’s operations system. What used to be a report someone built by hand is now a page the client checks whenever they want.
